M+ Museum for Visual Culture, Hong Kong

Project Description
The West Kowloon Cultural District will be developed into one of the world’s largest cultural quarters, blending art, education and public space.Scheduled for opening in 2019, the M+ museum will create an iconic presence on the project’s site overlooking Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour.M+ is the new museum for visual culture in Hong Kong, as part of West Kowloon Cultural District, focusing on 20th and 21st century art, design and architecture and moving image.
Service Overview
CTBH has been engaged by Faithful+Gould, which in turn is part of the Atkin’s led Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the Museum for Visual Culture (M+). CTBH’s role is to develop and oversee the M+ Master Programme, develop tender programmes and facilitate the contract award process and well as support the project through ongoing monitoring and reporting of the project progress.
Atkins’ is providing these services for the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, with Atkins performing the role of client Project Manager and Contract Administrator.
CTBH is also responsible for document control and administering the risk management process.
